For Radha
A little story, made with love.
For the best experience, begin with the music.

Dear Radha

Happy Birthday ❤️

I've spent weeks thinking about what to give you.

At first I thought it would be jewellery.

Then maybe another surprise trip.

Or a fancy dinner.

But somewhere while making all of this...

I realised none of those gifts could ever tell you what I actually wanted to say.

So I thought I'd finally do something I don't do often enough.

Tell you.

The little things

You know what's funny?

Some of my favourite memories with you are completely ordinary.

The tea you make for me even though you don't drink tea yourself.

The hug I get the moment I come home.

The breakfast recipes you surprise me with.

The way you tell me every little detail about your day.

Playing Royal Match together on your phone even though I could just download it myself.

Getting ridiculously competitive over Sequence and Ludo.

Listening to you confidently sing the wrong lyrics.

Watching you steal food from my plate after saying you weren't hungry.

None of these moments are extraordinary.

But somehow...

they've become my favourite parts of life.

When life became uncertain.

The year that changed everything.

There have been days this year that weren't easy.

Some were exciting.

Some were uncertain.

Some honestly scared me.

Changing countries.

Changing jobs.

Trying to figure out what comes next.

If there's one thing I never had to worry about...

it was whether you'd still be standing beside me.

You always were.

Not loudly.

Not dramatically.

Just quietly.

Consistently.

Like you've always been there.

I don't know if I've ever thanked you enough for that.

One photograph, a whole world

It was taken during our Haldi Carnival at Tijara Fort Palace.

There were hundreds of people around us. Music. Laughter. Petals flying everywhere.

And yet...

Somehow, it felt like the entire world disappeared for those few seconds.

It was just you and me.

I still remember looking at you and thinking how unbelievably beautiful you looked.

I don't say it nearly as often as I should.

But you really are.

Every single day.

Whenever I see this picture, I'm reminded that no matter how busy or noisy life gets...

Home has always been wherever you are.

Our story, one chapter at a time.

19 Apr 2023

The first hello.

Neither of us knew our entire future had quietly begun.

16 Aug 2024

The first meeting.

Two shy people trying not to look too excited.

16 Aug 2024

Our first date.

Somehow it already felt easy to be with you.

24 AUG 2024

We said yes.

On the top deck of a cruise, with music in the background and the universe quietly giving us its blessing.

15 Sept 2024

WE GOT ENGAGED.

Surrounded by the people who love us, our forever became official.

12 Feb 2025

We became us.

The easiest "yes" I've ever said.

7 Mar 2025

Our first trip after marriage.

A honeymoon that almost didn't happen... and became one of our favorite memories.

Our first home

It wasn't the house that made it special.

It was that you were in it.

7 Aug 2026

Your second birthday with me.

And hopefully the first of many little surprises like this.

The best chapters are still unwritten.

Chapter I — Before We Knew

Before there was a wedding, a home, or a shared life, there were these little beginnings.

The call that changed everything.

It all started with a video call. Two strangers, both pretending not to be nervous. I don’t remember every word we spoke that day. But I remember smiling long after we hung up. Looking back now, it’s funny how an ordinary phone call quietly became the beginning of my favourite story.

Our first picture together.

We barely knew each other. Yet somehow, looking at this photograph today, it feels like we already belonged in the same frame.

Our first date.

We didn’t choose somewhere fancy. We chose somewhere peaceful. Looking back, I think that suited us perfectly. Before we built a life together, we started with gratitude.

The day we said yes.

Somewhere between conversations, laughter, awkward silences, and getting to know each other, we stopped wondering if this could work. We simply knew. This was the day we chose each other.

The ordinary days.

No celebration. No milestone. No occasion. Just another day. Funny enough, these ordinary days have become some of my favourite memories.

You came for my birthday.

You came all the way just to spend my birthday with me. At the time, it felt like a sweet surprise. Today, I realise it was something much bigger. You were already making my days feel special, long before you became my wife.

Looking back now…

None of these days felt extraordinary while we were living them. But somehow, they’ve become some of the most precious memories I have. Maybe that’s what love does. It quietly turns ordinary moments into the ones you never want to forget.

Chapter II — The Day We Became Us

For months, we had been choosing each other quietly. Then came the day we got to say it in front of everyone.

We celebrated us.

Surrounded by everyone we loved, I still kept finding myself looking only at you.

Just you and me.

There were hundreds of people around us. Somehow, for those few seconds, the entire world disappeared.

The beginning of forever.

One beautiful night. One promise. One life waiting for us on the other side.

The easiest yes.

Long after the ceremonies ended, the only thing that mattered was that we had chosen each other.

The wedding gave us beautiful photographs. But the real gift was everything that began after them.

Chapter III — The Life We’re Building

Marriage did not feel like the end of our love story. It felt like the moment the real adventure finally began.

Finding joy everywhere.

Some adventures were planned. Others were simply excuses to spend another day together.

The little surprises.

Your smile has always made every effort feel worth it.

Our little traditions.

New festivals, new rituals, and a new meaning of home.

A dream came true.

Our first snowfall together — cold hands, ridiculous smiles, and a memory I never want to lose.

The best kind of detour.

The places changed. The feeling never did. Everything was more fun with you beside me.

Still exploring.

New countries, unfamiliar streets, and my favourite person walking through all of it with me.

Some memories were grand. Most were completely ordinary. And somehow, you made all of them feel like the life I had always hoped for.

…and this is still only the beginning.

…and this is still only the beginning.

The next ten years.

Sometimes I think about what our life will look like ten years from now.

Maybe we'll be living in a different city.

Or another country.

A different home.

Different jobs.

New friends.

New adventures.

Maybe even tiny little humans running around the house.

So much will change.

But there is one thing I hope never does.

I hope we still laugh at terrible jokes.

I hope you still make me tea even though you never drink it yourself.

I hope we still argue over board games like they're world championships.

I hope I still get to come home to your hugs.

I hope we never stop talking about our days.

I hope we always remain exactly what we are today...

Best friends who happened to fall in love.

Because out of everything I'm excited about in the future...

I'm most excited that I'll get to experience it with you.

One last surprise.

If you've made it this far...

Thank you.

For reading every word.

For every memory we've made.

For believing in us.

For choosing me.

Now it's my turn to choose something for you.

Well... almost.

I know how wonderfully picky you are. 😊

And honestly...

I wouldn't trust myself to pick the perfect piece of jewelry without you.

So instead, I'm giving you the joy of choosing it yourself.

I hope that one day, whenever you wear it...

it reminds you of this birthday,

this little website,

and how deeply you're loved.

Some gifts are chosen with love.

This one is chosen by you... with all of mine. ❤️

Whenever you're ready...

Until we're old.

Before I met you, I used to wonder what kind of life I would have.

Now I only wonder what kind of memories we'll create next.

Thank you...

For choosing me.

Not just once.

But every single day.

Through certainty.

Through uncertainty.

Through laughter.

Through tears.

Through ordinary days.

Through unforgettable adventures.

If one day you read this again on your 40th birthday...

I hope we smile at how worried we once were about the future.

I hope we'll laugh and say,

"Jo hota hai, achhe ke liye hi hota hai."

And I hope you'll still know one thing...

That I loved you yesterday.

I love you today.

And I'll love you for every tomorrow we get together.

Happy Birthday, Guddi ❤️

— Yours always,
Guddu
